This piece is my interpretation of the cassock—the grand attire of the Pope—honoring our shared African origins and the symbolism of unity. The fabric’s pattern, featuring the All-Seeing Eye and triangular shapes, called for something bold and majestic. There’s no other garment that commands presence quite like the cassock, so I designed this wrap to embody that same power.

When you move, the wrap opens like an accordion, extending outward with each step to create a larger-than-life effect that fills the space. I added strips of interfacing to keep the fabric flat and straight, amplifying the impact and bringing an awe-inspiring structure to this piece.
